This document presents an analysis of the strategic role of human resources management in the success of projects developed in the Colombian private business sector. Based on a qualitative documentary review between 2015 and 2025, the most relevant talent management practices were identified, as well as the challenges organizations face when implementing them. The research reveals that practices such as competency-based selection, continuous training, and transformational leadership are directly related to improved project performance indicators. Furthermore, an intervention model is proposed that integrates these practices into the project lifecycle, with the aim of improving organizational sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness
