Logistics flow of the donation process based on the RAPDTT model
Donation management is an area of humanitarian logistics management that benefits from the knowledge and applications of 4.0 technologies, while also requiring recognition of its value networks. However, the donation process is not understood in its entirety as a sequence of opportunities that affect the donor individual throughout their life, but rather as the fragmented moment in which that individual can deliver something concrete, in the form of a donation. In other words, donation is mistakenly conceived as part of the specific process in which the donated item is used, rather than as a process in itself. This essay reinterprets donation as a macroprocess that occurs throughout each person's life. The aim is to facilitate and broaden the understanding of donation management, which is the linchpin of a complex system whose fundamental understanding benefits from the adoption of the RAPDTT model.
