A discussion about key performance indicators and sustainable projects. Case study in the construction of water reservoirs in the municipality of Saboyá, Boyacá (Colombia).
Key performance indicators (KPIs) are fundamental to measure and track the different aspects that the triple bottom line (environmental, economic, and social) requires in the development of sustainable projects. This paper illustrates a review of different authors who focus their research on the most appropriate application of KPIs in project management, together with the use of multicriteria and multiattribute methodologies and techniques for decision making in project portfolios.
