The document analyzes the impact of work-related stress on physical and mental health, highlighting its growing presence in various professional environments. Although a moderate level of stress can boost productivity, chronic stress is associated with cardiovascular disease, sleep disorders, immune weakness, digestive problems, and muscle aches. Through a survey based on the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), it was shown that 100% of the participants experience stress, mainly due to work overload. Symptoms such as anxiety, migraine and chronic fatigue were identified. Therefore, strategies are proposed to mitigate these effects, such as time management, relaxation techniques, physical activity, healthy eating, social support and the creation of positive work environments. In addition, it highlights the importance of self-care as an individual responsibility. Finally, it is suggested that future research analyzes sector-specific interventions and the role of social support in mitigating work-related stress.
