The project “Home Gardens with School Environmental Education” had the objective of strengthening environmental care actions in children aged 6 to 12 years at the Francisco Nuñez Pedroso Educational Institution - Guillermo Roldan in San Sebastián de Mariquita, Tolima. Through the implementation of home gardens and the promotion of school environmental education, students are continuously made aware of the importance of caring for the environment. This project involved the families of the students, encouraging parental participation in the home gardens and environmental education. It implied articulated work that extended beyond the classroom to daily family life, influencing not only educational spaces but also family environments. In this way, a positive impact was generated in the educational community by promoting sustainable practices that contribute to environmental care
