The response to play is located within the field of attitudes, expression, and enjoyment, which involves a commitment of dedication. It should provide opportunities for the expression of feelings and appreciation, enabling the child's holistic development, fostering self-love, the ability to love others, thus favoring the development of attitudes such as belonging, self-regulation, confidence, uniqueness, efficiency, and satisfaction. Likewise, playful activities include creative thinking, problem solving, skills to alleviate tension and anxiety, as well as the ability to use tools and language development.

This document reports on the work conducted during observation practices in rural educational institutions, where it was found that playful activities are scarcely implemented in the classroom. This is due to the role of the teacher, who imparts and imposes the activities to be carried out, without allowing space for imagination and creative capacity. Such practices result in a lack of interest in school activities among children.
