1st International congress on physics research and teaching

These proceedings compile the contributions of the First International Congress on Physics Research and Teaching (CiiEF 2022), held on October 27, 28 and 29, 2022, organized by the Basic Sciences strand of the ECBTI of the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD). The event brought together national and international researchers, professors and students to share advances and experiences in three thematic axes: (1) theoretical, experimental, and computational physics; (2) physics applied to engineering and education; and (3) physics education. The program integrated keynote lectures, remote physics laboratory-oriented workshops and short oral presentations, promoting academic exchange on instrumentation, modeling and simulation, applied data science, developments in materials and emerging technologies, as well as didactic approaches and digital resources for science education. The reports also include a strategy of social appropriation of knowledge through school student participation in poster format through short audiovisual content, articulated with dynamics of recognition. The congress was held in virtual mode, with free access and participation certification.
