Strategies for the generation of research products within the framework of university graduate programs
The generation of research products from university graduate programs is a challenge that higher education institutions are currently facing. However, it has not been an easy task to achieve this goal because of the complexity of interactions between students and directors. For this reason, this document analyzes two strategies that are being developed within the framework of a graduate program to improve these rates. To achieve this, the proposal analyzes the identified problems, describes the two strategies, and presents their impacts on university students and academic production. The results show that these strategies allow students to generate research products within the framework of the development of their degree projects and that these projects, most of which have an impact on organizations in the country, can be shared with academic peers and receive fundamental feedback for their continuity. In practical terms, it is expected that these strategies will continue to be replicated and that their scope will be greater in each of the versions.
