Advances in Biotechnology and Bioethics in Health: Implications for Medicine and Society
This paper explores the convergence of biotechnology, genetics, and bioethics in health, addressing advances in genetic editing and their ethical implications, the relationship between genetics and metabolic diseases, and environmental factors associated with diseases such as gastric cancer. Additionally, it examines knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding the human papillomavirus in Colombian girls and the challenges of caregiving in chronic diseases. The study highlights the importance of a multidisciplinary approach that integrates scientific innovation with ethical and social reflection.
