Genetic Interventions in Metabolism: A Comprehensive Analysis of Polymorphisms and Gene Expression in the Context of Obesity
This article investigates the influence of genetics on metabolism, focusing the analysis on two studies: one evaluating polymorphisms in hormones associated with muscle growth in sheep and the other investigating the expression of key genes (ObRb, AdipoR1 and CYP19) in obese or overweight women. The integration of these approaches provides a better understanding of genetic predisposition to metabolic disorders and opens the door to personalized interventions in animal production and human health (1-23).
