Innovaciones Biotecnológicas en Salud Animal y Agricultura: De la Detección de Enfermedades a la Gestión de Plagas
This paper explores how biotechnological innovations applied to animal health and agriculture are transforming disease and pest detection and control. Research is addressed that includes detection of antibodies to Borrelia burgdorferi in canines, determination of Brucella abortus seropositivity in cattle, genetic stability in Leptospira strains, and the use of RNA interference for gene silencing in insect pests. The application of these technologies allows for more accurate surveillance and sustainable methods that benefit both animal and human health (1-23).
