Biotechnological Innovation for Sustainable Development: From Pest Control and Microbial Conservation to Regenerative Medicine and Digital Diagnostics
This paper explores two major areas of innovation based on recent studies published in Revista NOVA (2022). The first focuses on biotechnological applications in the agricultural and environmental fields, covering gene silencing in pest insects and genetic stability of pathogenic microorganisms. The second addresses advances in regenerative medicine and digital diagnostics, highlighting the effect of growth factors on cellular senescence and the contribution of digital radiology in diagnostic optimization. The convergence of these approaches is evidence of the potential of biotechnology to drive sustainable development and improve the quality of health care (1-24).
