In the health sector, technology has emerged as a strategic tool to ensure therapeutic continuity among patients with chronic diseases. In cardiovascular diseases pharmacological adherence remains a major clinical challenge. This study presents a systematic review focused on identifying technological contributions that support adherence to pharmacological treatment in cardiovascular patients. Searches were conducted in PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and LILACS databases covering the period 2017–2024, using the PRISMA methodology. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria and validated methodological quality scales, eight studies were analyzed. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between technology use and pharmacological adherence. The most used tools were phone calls, text messages, electronic reminders, and mobile applications. The evidence suggests that technology-based interventions promote effective therapeutic control, enhance patient–physician communication, and reduce rates of rehospitalization and cardiovascular mortality.
