Noetic resources and disability
This working paper reports the results obtained in the research titled from social exclusion to the existential encounter: the stigma and the expression of noetic resources in people with physical disabilities in Ibagué, which was developed under a qualimetric research approach. It involved the participation of 40 people (20 men and 20 women) with whom the focus group technique was implemented, as well as the individual application of the dimensional scale of noological resources here and now. Based on the results obtained, it was possible to recognize the perception that the participating population has in relation to stigma in light of the dimensions that make up the noetic resources, specifically self-distance, and self-transcendence.
