The financial leverage options for the expansion of private sector companies in Colombia are diverse and can be adapted to the specific needs of each business.

  1. Bank Credits: Financial entities offer lines of credit that allow financing expansion projects and working capital.
  2. Bond Issuance: Larger companies can issue corporate bonds to raise resources from the market.
  3. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI): Attracting foreign investors is an effective strategy, since the government has created favorable policies to facilitate these investments.
  4. Private Equity Funds: Partnering with equity funds can provide not only capital, but also expertise.
  5. Leasing: Allows you to acquire assets without a large initial outlay, being a useful option to finance machinery or real estate.
  6. Government Programs: There are subsidies and soft loans for strategic sectors.
  7. Crowdfunding: Collective financing through digital platforms has gained popularity.
  8. Reinvestment of Profits: Using the profits generated to finance expansion is a more conservative and effective option.
  9. Factoring: Improves liquidity by converting accounts receivable into immediate cash.
  10. Increase in Share Capital: Does not generate debt and strengthens net worth.

Choosing the best option depends on the size of the company and its risk tolerance.
