The Kuznets curve in the Department of Tolima
This document carries out a theoretical and empirical review of the hypothesis of the Kuznets curve for the Department of Tolima, according to the theory there is an empirical relationship between inequality and economic growth, in this sense the following writing explains the theory and performs a contrast of the Kuznets hypothesis for the Department of Tolima.
In the first place, the theoretical framework and the state of the art of the phenomenon under study are presented, secondly, the data used is presented, and, finally, the hypothesis is verified in the regional context for Tolima.
