The shortage of skills in human talent in Latin America” addresses the worrying
disparity between the skills demanded by the productive apparatus and the
skills available in the region’s workforce. The document highlights that, despite
economic growth in Latin America, Significant challenges remain in preparing
and adapting required competencies and changing business demands.
The need for policies and programs that promote the training of skills relevant
to the labor market is highlighted, as well as the importance of public-private
alliances to address this problem.
