This paper examines the role of the STEAM+H methodology in curriculum
transformation and in strengthening competencies related to entrepreneurship,
innovation, and soft skills within educational contexts. Based on a systematic
review, the findings show how the interdisciplinary integration of science,
technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, and humanities enhances
students’ creativity, collaborative leadership, adaptability, and communication
skills. Moreover, contextualized training within local communities increases
the social relevance of educational programs and enables pedagogical practices
to align with local, regional, and national competitiveness demands. The study
concludes that STEAM+H should be conceived not merely as a pedagogical
methodology but as a comprehensive strategy that fosters contextual
innovation, focused entrepreneurship, and the sustainable development of
communities.
