The Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia UNAD, through its UNESCO Chair in Territorial Development, Equity and Socio-environmental Justice, has promoted the "Ibero-American Dialog of UNESCO Chairs: A Path to Equality, Equity and Social Inclusion" event, to be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (Chapinero headquarters), Bogota D.C., Colombia.

Here are the presentations prepared by prominent members of the UNESCO Chairs in Ibero-America, who will share their perspectives and proposals at the working tables, a key space for reflection, articulation and collective projection of researchers, social actors and institutional representatives committed to social transformation through education. Their common purpose is to share pedagogical practices and experiences aimed at promoting equality, equity and social inclusion, from different training models and territorial action dynamics. It is conceived as a scenario for the horizontal exchange of knowledge, based on a transformative view of education in the region, which also seeks to consolidate cooperation networks and joint actions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations Pact for the Future.

This document is not only a compilation of presentations, but also as an essential preliminary input for the working groups. We invite all participants to read the texts gathered here carefully and reflectively, as their content will serve as a basis for in-depth conversations, collaborative feedback and the joint construction of transformative strategies around education, sustainability, socio-environmental justice and social inclusion in Ibero-American contexts.

We extend an active invitation to all attendees to participate in a committed manner with their working groups, offering their visions, experiences and proposals, in order to contribute to the collective construction of a common horizon that strengthens the role of UNESCO Chairs as agents of social change in Ibero-America.
