5th International University Research Meeting Eniiu 2021

The 2021 Proceedings - Graduate Programs of the 5th International Meeting on University Research (ENIIU 2021) compile presentations organized by thematic tables that link applied research, innovation and academic reflection in different areas of knowledge. The volume integrates works in basic, administrative, economic, and accounting sciences, education sciences and engineering, with contributions ranging from biomedical and agri-food studies to public policy analysis, rights and pedagogical proposals. Basic sciences include research on dengue fever and on the use of essential oils (thyme and oregano) for seed disinfection and control of microorganisms associated with crops. The administrative component presents discussions on the financing of science, technology and innovation projects through royalties and a study on the violation of rights of children with disabilities in rural contexts. The education component incorporates historical-cultural approaches and proposals for citizen education from the perspective of social pedagogy. The engineering component reports the design and simulation of a controller (PID and algebraic method) implemented on a microcontroller for educational purposes.
