The objective of the Second “Experience the Sustainable City!” Conference was to create an academic forum for dialogue that brought together representatives from higher education institutions, secondary schools, environmental authorities, and the business sector. The event sought to promote collaborative efforts aimed at identifying actions, experiences, and initiatives that strengthen sustainability management, particularly those aligned with gender mainstreaming and related public policies.

In connection with this objective, the conference established a forum in which higher education institutions such as UNAD, UDFJC, Universidad del Rosario, Uniminuto, UPTC, and UPN, among others, shared experiences and institutional practices related to environmental management. These initiatives reflected the ways in which universities contribute to sustainability efforts while responding to the priorities established by governmental policies and regulatory guidelines.
