This volume gathers contributions of formative research presented at the 8th Interzonal Research Meeting of the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD), oriented to the scientific-social articulation for innovative and inclusive actions in the territory. The chapters address, from interdisciplinary approaches, problems and proposals related to: the dialog between philosophy and literature from mimetic theory; the transition from face-to-face to virtual education through support scenarios for first-time students; the development of citizenship skills based on systemic thinking; the evaluation of environmental conditions associated with distance education studies; creative and technical approaches to the specialization of sound; and studies applied to agribusiness and food science (whey and its use through emerging technologies, food safety, and evaluation of microbial interactions in culture media with productive impact).
