12th Meeting of the Colombian Network of Research in Social Sciences Didactics. Realities, inequalities and possibilities for teaching and learning in the Social Sciences.
The proceedings of the 12th Meeting of the Colombian Network of Research in Didactics of Social Sciences (REDIDCS) gather academic contributions oriented to the critical analysis of teaching and learning of social sciences in contemporary contexts marked by social inequalities, educational transformations and global crises. The meeting brought together researchers, practicing teachers and teachers in training, as well as academic groups from national and international institutions, with the purpose of socializing research, pedagogical experiences and teaching innovations developed in school, university and community settings. The compiled works address issues related to citizenship, historical memory, human rights, peace education, cultural diversity, territoriality, historical thinking, educational evaluation and pedagogical use of digital technologies, in face-to-face, virtual and hybrid contexts. Methodologically, the contributions incorporate qualitative approaches, case studies, systematizations of experiences, narrative research and situated didactic proposals, in dialog with critical, decolonial and interdisciplinary perspectives. The meeting was structured on the basis of academic discussions inspired by the Freirean dialog, favoring collective discussion and pedagogical reflection as the axes for the construction of knowledge. As a whole, the proceedings constitute a space for academic circulation that gives visibility to practices, tensions and possibilities for the didactics of social sciences in Latin America, in dialog with the educational, social and cultural challenges of the present
