The text presents the experience of curricular innovation of the Psychology program of the Universidad Nacional Abierta y Distancia within the framework of the institutional UNAD 4.0, aimed at strengthening academic quality in virtual mode. The proposal is based on a curriculum redesign process built collaboratively by teachers, students, graduates, academic peers and external actors, incorporated into the guidelines of the Solidarity Pedagogical Academic Project and the current regulations for the education of human talent in health in Colombia. The renewed curricular model is structured on the basis of problematic and integrating cores that link theory, practice, research and ethics, incorporating systemic, biopsychosocial and community approaches. The experience highlights the inclusion of specialization lines in traditional and emerging fields of psychology, the strengthening of research training, the strengthening of the community social imprint and the expansion of the practical component through simulators, telepsychology and professional practice scenarios mediated by digital technologies. Likewise, emphasis is placed on the use of technological tools for psychological evaluation and formative mentoring, oriented to respond to contemporary psychosocial problems and territorial needs. The experience shows an articulation between pedagogical innovation, social relevance and curricular transformation in distance higher education.
