The Regional Intersystemic Observatory is one of the devices of social innovation that the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia UNAD has to manage the action of knowledge with the communities. It is methodologically supported by the principles of PRA and orients its action from the territorial approach; from there, it is structured in five components of action from where a series of pedagogical and social innovation strategies for community work are deployed, such as: Miguel Ramón Martínez open chair, with the participation of 46 social leaders; the OIR camps with the participation of 51 social leaders in 2020 and 351 in 2021 and the development of digital social mappings as one of the innovation techniques for community action and dynamization by virtual mediation, developed in 66 centers located in the 8 zones where UNAD is present in Colombia; said mappings serve as a basis for community recognition in the new normality Post COVID 19. Finally, the Territorial Thought Centers of the OIR are presented, where all the production from the management of the knowledge action generated by the implementation of the observatory will be materialized.
