The Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia, within the framework of its teaching qualification policy, establishes the importance of the permanent updating of the academic staff. In this sense, the School of Education Sciences responds to this policy through the formative Continuum that begins with the Training of Trainers Program[1] (TTP) and specifically with the design and offer of the Diploma course network that guarantees a first-level appropriation for the e-Mediators, oriented to the understanding of the UNAD Pedagogical Model supported by e-Learning, the recognition of the open, distance and virtual modality, and the experience of the Solidarity Pedagogical Academic Project. As part of its social responsibility, the TTP contributes to the qualification of professionals dedicated to university teaching, responding to the needs and demands of appropriation and use of information and communication technologies in educational contexts. Based on the initiative of the Ministry of National Education called Plan Padrino, the Program designed the proposal "Sharing knowledge to build learning", which contributed to the development of teaching skills in methodological and technological aspects of ICT-assisted face-to-face teaching. It also designed the portable self-training course "Pedagogical mediation in training processes with appropriation of ICT", which promoted new understandings of teaching praxis in ICT-assisted classroom teaching.
