In the educational field there are many mechanisms used to promote student learning, one of them is the incorporation[1] of virtual learning environments operationalized through a virtual classroom, which are intended to promote the teaching-learning processes and self-education in learners on the basis of autonomous, meaningful and collaborative learning. The purpose of this presentation is to show the design of the virtual course of Enterprise Architecture of the Systems Engineering program, in a Virtual Learning Environment - VLE, as evidence of the knowledge acquired in the qualification and certification of competencies in the Course Manager in VLE certificate diploma of the Trainer Training program, a process during which pedagogical, didactic and methodological aspects, fundamental in distance and virtual higher education, were applied and incorporated. Exploratory qualitative research was conducted, applying the instructional design for the planning and implementation of the Enterprise Architecture course based on the curricular guidelines and other official documents for course design in the virtual campus of the UNAD. The target population of the present proposal corresponds to students of the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia and its 515 students of the Systems Engineering program, whose formative route is the course mentioned above. The results include the construction of the syllabus, activity guides and information object, which are essential elements for the design of the course.
