The seminar on digital transformation of education as a strategy for innovation in teaching practices

The purpose of this presentation is to share with the academic community the experience of the seminar specialized in pedagogical innovation and digital transformation, as a strategy to innovate teaching practices from the integration of project-based learning, the research seminar, methodologies for transformation, and digital prototyping. The learning process followed by the students and some prototypes of applications developed by them are illustrated as evidence of the digital transformation and innovation resulting from the conceptual constructions, which, framed in the knowledge society, aim to provide solutions to specific learning or educational problems. Also mentioned are some strategies used from the tutorial accompaniment of the seminar, in addition to some comments made by the students at the end of the seminar, as evidence of their attitudinal transformation in the face of the needs of educational transformation and innovation. Final reflections are offered to the academic community, in order to achieve in our graduates the attitude and profile of digital transformers, capable of generating the educational and learning changes required by the educational system.
