The research seedbeds attached to the Electronics, Telecommunications and Networking (ETN) Training Chain of the School of Basic Sciences, Technology and Engineering (ECBTI), with presence in the Central East Zone, have been developing in recent years an interaction between the research teachers attached to the Cúcuta - Bucaramanga - Barrancabermeja centers, in order to develop competencies in research training, not only in the students of the ETN Chain, but also, in an inclusive and participatory manner, linking students from secondary and elementary schools, in order to promote from an early age, affinity for science, mathematics and engineering. Through the application of the STEAM methodology and the Maker culture, the students of the seedbeds that have participated in the applied projects, have managed to design and consolidate technological developments aimed at solving problems of the region, enriching the graduate profile, and at the same time becoming a scenario where UNAD is a protagonist, due to the fact that this same methodological strategy has been extended to external students where different educational robotics workshops are promoted, which have revealed the growing interest of young people in these scientific-technical areas in an interdisciplinary environment, especially in girls, when these exercises are developed at an early age.
