The Latin American Innovation Rally is a competition that aims to promote science and open innovation among the Latin American student population. The Rally is held virtually by teams and lasts twenty-eight hours. The participation of the University as a host institution has become a great opportunity to push innovation, entrepreneurship and international mobility of our students, strengthening the capacity to provide solutions to environmental challenges through the exchange[1] of experiences and knowledge among students, graduates and teachers. In the same way, it promotes cultural exchange with students[1] from other countries, which generates positive changes for these actors, such as: strengthening of critical judgment, autonomous learning, interpersonal interaction skills, teamwork and interculturality. This great experience has generated pragmatic effects for pedagogical practices, substantive responsibilities and institutional projection, since it has strengthened the learning of the actors, contributing to promote a culture of open science and creativity, of cooperation and incentive for our students to explore entrepreneurship with the support of their teachers, contributing to the visibility of the institution at international level. The objective of this article is to analyze the perception of the incidence of the Latin American Innovation Rally in the strengthening of capacities for the generation of innovative solutions in UNAD students.
