UNAD Social Service System (SISSU) as a professional practice scenario in industrial engineering

UNAD's Industrial Engineering program includes the professional practice course in its studies plan, where through a practice scenario and a work plan, whose objective is to identify projects for the design of solutions from a productive, social and solidary approach supported by the methods and tools of the discipline. The practice scenarios of the UNAD Social Service System SISSU, correspond to a strategy of social projection where, based on a need identified by the actors of the communities in the territories and micro territories, it enables the development of specific disciplinary competencies, soft skills and the design and execution of social transformation projects based on the principles of transformational leadership. The results of the articulation of the program with the SISSU are presented under a descriptive experiential approach, projects developed since its implementation, achievements and impacts, becoming an experience of transformation of the environment for the qualification of the student and the E-mediator, contributing to the substantive responsibilities of the University and the diversity in the training spaces for the identification of future projects from a holistic perspective, strengthening and challenges for the pedagogical management in virtual learning environments.
