The itinerant philosophy chair as a space for the academic strengthening of UNAD students
One of the most important scenarios of the School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities - ECSAH, which belongs to the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia - UNAD, is the Itinerant Chair of the Philosophy program, which takes place annually since 2018 in the eight areas of the country where the institution is present. After a review of the topics addressed in each edition, the audience, the profile of the speakers and the review of their bibliographical contributions, it was determined that the Itinerant Philosophy Chair contributes to research, education, communication and discussion of processes and projects of philosophical research and social appropriation, by fostering critical reflection and independent thinking on the facts and phenomena that occur in different parts of Colombia. At the same time, it was noted that the Itinerant Chair has fostered a process of decentralization of knowledge by establishing a system of dialog and learning between the center and the periphery, which has made it possible to build significant relationships between the central level and the regions in the academic field.
