The Dia-Légein Virtual Philosophical Reading Club is a pedagogical strategy designed to strengthen critical, creative, and reflective thinking through reading, dialogue, and collaborative writing in virtual environments. The initiative originated in the Philosophy program at Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD) as a response to the challenges identified in understanding philosophical texts and to the need to promote student retention through experiences of social engagement with knowledge and innovative pedagogical mediation.

The proposal is implemented through a cyber reading club model, combining synchronous meetings via videoconferencing with asynchronous sessions supported by digital platforms such as YouTube. This dynamic fosters the collective construction of philosophical knowledge, hermeneutic pluralism, and the democratization of access to philosophy in line with UNESCO guidelines and the Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and holistic human development.

The implemented methodology incorporates collaborative strategies such as reports, counter-reports, discussion protocols, and the collective production of academic documents, strengthening reading, writing, argumentation, and reflection skills. Likewise, the club promotes research, educational innovation processes, and the public dissemination of specialized knowledge through hybrid and inclusive formats adapted to different modes of participation.

The results demonstrate sustained participation by students, faculty, and alumni, as well as a positive impact on academic interaction, promotion of independent learning, and creation of virtual communities for philosophical reflection. This experience highlights the potential of digital technologies to transform teaching and learning practices in philosophy within virtual education settings.
