The 2nd International Congress on Research, Innovation and Inclusion for Social Transformation -CINTS 2024- "Challenges and Perspectives for Sustainable Social Transformation" held on October 10 and 11, 2024, constituted a bet of UNAD CCAV Zipaquirá to energize the substantive responsibilities of UNAD from the approach of the Sustainable Development Goals -SDGs- from a glocal perspective, that is, from a critical perspective that makes visible and critically examines the complex relationship between the global and the local in ensuring minimum living conditions for the communities. This perspective was made possible through the participation of researchers and experts coming not only from different fields of knowledge, but also from different national and international contexts of enunciation. The congress was a significant milestone in the Central Savannah region, in the exchange of knowledge and experiences regarding the transformation and improvement of the quality of life of the communities through research and innovation. It brought together researchers from 12 public and private universities, as well as social actors from the productive and governmental sectors, with the common goal of creating synergies in favor of social transformation and sustainability in the territories.
