The purpose of this document is to demonstrate the experience and impact of information and communication technologies (ICT), more precisely the design and development of a mobile application with augmented reality (AR) technology to strengthen freehand drawing skills in the subject of character creation, of the course (subject) digital graphic design belonging to the academic program of Multimedia Engineering. On the other hand, this project is justified by the need of the students of the Multimedia Eng. of the UNAD in the development of the competence to define strokes, to know how to draw freehand in order to digitize them and create graphics according to market standards. The document also explains the methodology used in the mixed research process, the collection of numerical and text data, and analysis of these evidencing the importance of the use of this type of educational resources.
