Practical component in design projects
The World Organization of Design (WOD) defines industrial design as a process focused on problem solving through innovation, enhancing business and quality of life by developing innovative products, systems, services and experiences from transdisciplinary professional exercises. The university training for this profession is structured in a chain of courses in which the exercise of the discipline is learned, its techniques both to communicate ideas and to incorporate knowledge from other areas and in particular to work in conjunction with other professionals to carry out developments from heterogeneous perspectives, for which synchronous group meetings are required in which design exercises are solved, which are vital in the strengthening of competencies for professional practice. In the period 2020 and 2021 these activities should be carried out through technological mediations; in this exercise we will present the model developed and the results of this experience.
